Dementia Challenges: Behaviors and Medications, Napa, CA

A training event for professionals : RNs and LVNs will receive 4 Contact Hours

Join us as Geriatrician Michelle Dhanak, M.D., presents a topic of interest to elder care professionals, particularly to and Registered Nurses and LVNs, “Dementia Challenges: Behaviors and Medications”.

This 4-hour training will include a presentation on Basics of Dementia and Behaviors, a presentation on Medications and Dementia, a Behaviors Workshop and the Living In the Moment® Dementia Simulation Experience.

Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to learn how to manage the challenges of dementia, including the difficult behaviors that often come with the disease, and how to best handle different situations. Participants will learn which medications work best, and which medications work less well for someone with dementia.
